Mumbai : The Bombay High Court ordered the collector of Shirdi Sai trust to overlook the formation of a new committee within 15 days.
The Aurangabad bench of the court ordered dismissal of Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi on Tuesday, Mar 13. Rajendra Gondkar and Sandip Kulkarni - the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shirdi president and a social activist, respectively, earlier had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the trust.
After citing the PIL filed by the duo, the Bombay High Court passed the order. Sai Baba temple, one of the richest in India, is being governed by the trust. The temple is located at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.
