World Best Airport Mumbai & Delhi airport got second and thirtd ranked

A survey has ranked the city's international airport as the third best terminal globally in 2011.

The Airports Council International (ACI) gives away service quality awards annually . The survey was conducted at 180 airports across the world.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) handles 25 to 40 million passengers annually. Seoul's Incheon has been adjudged as the best airport, followed by New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen airports stand at fourth and fifth positions. The South Korean terminal was ranked the best airport for the seventh consecutive year. ACI is the only global trade representative of airports with 580 members operating from 1,650 airports in 179 countries and territories. The passenger survey measures customer feedback on a range of service delivery parameters and tracks the customer experience at an airport from the time of arrival to the departure gate.

The information collected is analyzed against a customer's expectation from the airport.
