Sushil Chavan, an engineer by professional had promised to marry the victim and had physical relations with the girl but when the victim started insisting upon marriage, he refused.
Meanwhile, police has arrested Chavan after his girlfriend had filed a rape complaint against him. Chavan was in relationship with the complainant since the last one year but recently accused has refused to fulfill his promise and started to avoid the complaint.
The victim and Chavan were earlier neighbours and they often meet each other. Later, Chavan shifted to Navi Mumbai but they continue their friendship with the help of social networking.
