Yves Rossy Jetman Show -26 Nov 2011

A Swiss adventurer with a jet-propelled fixed wing on his back has flown in formation with jet aircraft in his native country.

52-year-old Yves Rossy is a former fighter jet pilot and known as "Jetman."

On Friday, he took part in a formation flight with 2 trainer jets in northwestern Switzerland.

Rossy jumped from a helicopter at an altitude of 1,500 meters and flew alongside the 2 jets for about 10 minutes at a speed of about 220 kilometers per hour. He then parachuted to the ground.

Rossy has previously flown with a jet-propelled wing at various locations, including across the English Channel.
